Dr. Berny Kreutz was recently honored by Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley’s Commission on Hispanic Affairs in recognition of his efforts to improve healthcare both locally and internationally.

Dr. Kreutz is an active member of the Washington, DC Pan American Medical Society and founder and president of the MF Rider Foundation, which sponsors an annual surgical mission to Honduras. He has raised millions of dollars for the construction of hospitals in Honduras. Dr. Kreutz also serves on the Board of Directors for Montgomery Cares, a consortium of hospitals in our area dedicated to serving low-income populations.

Dr. Kreutz is a surgeon with Johns Hopkins Community Physicians in Bethesda. He treats both adolescents and adults and specializes in bowel obstruction, breast disease, colon cancer, hernia (non laparoscopic), laparoscopic cholectectomy, pancreatic disease, skin lesions, surgery and thyroid disorders
